Marthas contemporary is pleased to present “Something Slight” curated by Mueni Loko Rudd. The exhibition features paintings and photography from 3 artists based in 3 different cities. Taylor Simmons's figurative paintings explore perception, while Polo Silk and Mitchell Reece’s work Touch on community and familial experiences. The exhibition weaves together a narrative of city life and community engagement and how these experiences shape our lives and reflect who we are.
Simmons is currently based in New York City, NY, Reece in Houston, TX, and Silk in New Orleans, LA.
